From that moment forward the Zelle Hemp Company team has developed groundbreaking advancements in the Hemp and CBD industry. There was one thing that the founders knew when they started this company. They looked at the industry and saw that there was something thing missing, and they were determined to provide it. They needed to create a true seed-to-sale company that could be trusted by all of its customers. Ensuring that their customers felt safe using all of the Zelle Hemp Company products and felt comfortable giving them to their loved ones. They wanted to create a transparent community of CBD and Hemp lovers that wanted to experience and learn more about what this beautiful plant had to offer. They hit the ground running.
Our Founders Derek Smith Ph.D. and Al focused on their specialties and strengths in their long search to find the best team members to entrust their vision with. A great part about our company is that we are a family-run and operated team! Even those who are not blood-related are still considered like family to the Zelle Hemp Company. Our founders set out to grow beautiful hemp flowers in the most natural of circumstances. The Zelle Hemp Company also partnered with a select few generational farmers in rural Tennessee. This is how our company ensures that our plants are perfectly tended to, nourished plentifully, and rise high with cannabinoids. Before any soil gets prepped and becomes a new home to our seedlings, it is tested by a third party to ensure that the ground is pure as it can be. After our team has vetted the soil, we plant thousands of seedlings and watch them grow. We nurture them with water, organic fertilizer, and natural remedies. Our Flower is tested every week to keep data on our plants and their growth patterns. After our plants are done growing our team of farmers collects all of the plants from the ground and prepares them to be brought into the Zelle Extraction and Research Center. This is where all biomass is tagged and retested.

Zelle Hemp Company biomass is then stored in a temperature and humidity-controlled room until it is ready to be brought into the lab and extracted. Once the Biomass is brought into the lab, it is put through our first process. This is where it is washed with our food-grade solvent in an industrial-sized raw material washer. We do this very specifically so that we can ensure to extract the maximum amount of cannabinoids. Then the product is tested. After the tests come back and our President of Production is pleased with the results, our team will use extreme pressure and temperature changes to separate our food-grade solution from our cannabinoids. This separated cannabinoid oil is called Crude Oil. Although crude oil is plentiful in cannabinoids, it also contains unwanted fats and waxes. Again, the product is tested and vetted before it is moved through our extraction process. Our team will then extract all of the carbon from our Crude oil to prep it for the distillation process. Our decarbonated crude oil is then fed into our distillation machines. This laboratory-grade distiller then separates unwanted fats, waxes, and terpenes from the beautiful cannabinoids. The liquid that comes out of this process is called the full-spectrum distillate.
Once our full spectrum distillate is tested and ensure that it meets our standards of production, it will be moved into our formulation laboratory. This is where our team of formulation specialists creates our fantastic products in very small batches. Our entire lab and formulation process is run by our co-founder Derek Smith Ph.D., who looks over every step of the process.
